Last week the Ausmach team including CEO, Norman Kurta, and Executive Director, Aytunc Tezay, visited Atlanta’s International Woodworking Fair. IWF is renowned for live machinery demonstrations and emphasising industry education with an impressive line-up of opportunities for business owners to indulge in the latest industry trends that will improve their products, streamline their operations, support their expansion and increase profits.
This passion for growth and innovation was infectious on the day all the way from the stands to the conference rooms, business cards flew from hand to hand and everyone generously shared their expertise, insider tips and latest innovations, connecting leaders to further advance the industry.
We caught up with global leaders and our incredible partners, Koch, who are celebrating 60 years specialising in drilling and dowel insertion machinery. The Koch team, including Germany’s Kerstin, Romano and Jochen and West Coast’s Jeff Oliverson welcomed us to their booth, where the UNIDRILL base.line, SPRINT pro.line, ENDMASTER-K base.line, Paul C14 II and DYNMA VK-011 were all on show and attracted attendees who were eager to get hands-on with the best of the best.
At C. R. Onsrud’s stand, Tom and Bill Onsrud launched the QUBE machine with live demonstrations of the durability and power of five generations of experience and expertise. Driven by innovation, C. R. Onsrud teamed up with IMA Schelling America to deliver a full nesting and board storage solution, proving that collaboration will be the key ingredient in the future for industry growth. This impressive display of teamwork drew the crowds to the stand for a taste of what America has to offer.
Soukup brought their expertise for wooden window machinery to the forefront; showcasing comprehensive technology and advanced specialised machinery that can be customised for the individual needs of unique businesses. Our team were so swept away by the expertise, passion and dedication by the Soukup team that we can’t wait to host Soukup in Australia early in the new year! It’s experts like Soukup that champion quality and specialisation that are keeping manufacturers ahead of the competition and advancing the industry.
Our trip to IWF proved that Ausmach is positioning Australia and New Zealand manufacturers ahead, not just at home, but also abroad. With an offering of machinery that is unmatched in variety, quality and power, Ausmach is giving manufacturers something that other companies aren’t: options.
Keeping in line with Industry 4.0, Ausmach is leading the charge by diversifying factories and supporting collaborative workplaces. This means supplying machines that meet unique business needs and connecting them together to form intelligent factories and streamlined production.
IWF was a great opportunity to get together with other industry leaders and preview what’s next for the manufacturing industry and to share the innovation coming from Australia and New Zealand manufacturers with the rest of the world. As we go from strength to strength together, events like IWF will help us connect with those in the industry as dedicated to growth and innovation as we are, leading to stronger partnerships, new collaborations and unprecedented growth.
